Beta Service Notice

RPG Element Forge is currently in open beta. During the beta period, we may collect additional diagnostic and usage data to help improve the Service, identify bugs, and enhance performance. This data is used solely for development and improvement purposes. Our data collection practices may evolve as we develop the Service, and this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

1. Introduction

Quicksilver Industries Ltd. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates RPG Element Forge at rpgelementforge.com ("the Service"), currently in open beta. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our Service. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign in using a third-party authentication provider (X/Twitter or Google), we receive and store:

  • Your display name
  • Your email address (if provided by the authentication provider)
  • Your profile image URL
  • Your unique account identifier from the authentication provider

Payment Information

When you subscribe to a paid plan, payment information (such as credit card numbers and billing addresses) is collected and processed directly by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. We do not store your full credit card number or payment details on our servers. We receive and store limited information from Stripe, including your Stripe customer ID, subscription ID, subscription status, and current billing period end date.

Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you use the Service, including:

  • Content generation inputs and outputs (when saved to your history)
  • Daily usage counts for rate limiting purposes
  • Pages visited and features used
  • Browser type, operating system, and device information
  • IP address
  • Date and time of access

Analytics Data

We use Google Analytics to collect anonymized usage statistics, including page views, session duration, referral sources, and general geographic location. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this information. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Advertising Data

We use third-party advertising networks, including Google AdSense and AdMaven, to display advertisements on the Service. These advertising partners may collect information about your visits to the Service and other websites in order to provide relevant advertisements about goods and services that may interest you. This information is typically collected through cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, and similar tracking technologies. The data collected may include:

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

Service Providers

We share information with third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Service:

  • xAI (Grok) — Your generation inputs are sent to xAI's API for AI content generation. xAI processes this data in accordance with its own privacy policy.
  • Stripe — Processes payment transactions. Stripe collects and stores payment information in accordance with PCI-DSS standards and its own privacy policy.
  • X/Twitter and Google — Used for authentication. We receive limited profile information as described above.
  • Google Analytics — Collects anonymized usage data to help us understand how the Service is used.
  • Google AdSense — Displays advertisements on the Service. Google AdSense uses cookies and tracking technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to the Service and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
  • AdMaven — Displays advertisements on the Service. AdMaven may use cookies and similar technologies to collect browsing data for advertising purposes in accordance with its own privacy policy.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, in response to a valid legal process (such as a subpoena, court order, or government request), or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to: (a) comply with applicable laws or regulations; (b) protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our users, or the public; or (c) detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues.

Business Transfers

If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change and any choices you may have regarding your information.

Your data is stored on servers located in the United States. We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL), secure authentication mechanisms, and access controls.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated personal data
  • Data portability: Request a machine-readable copy of your data

  • Withdraw consent: Withdraw consent for data processing at any time, where processing is based on consent

9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) to:

  • Know whether your personal information is sold or disclosed and to whom
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights

10. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Specifically:

  • Account information: Retained as long as your account is active
  • Generation history: Retained until you delete individual entries or request account deletion
  • Payment records: Retained for as long as required by applicable tax and accounting laws (typically up to seven years)
  • Usage logs: Retained for up to twelve (12) months for security and analytics purposes

You may delete individual generations from your history at any time. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within thirty (30) days, except for information we are required to retain by law.

11. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States and other countries as described in this policy.

12. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. 13. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature that sends a signal to websites you visit indicating that you do not wish to be tracked. There is currently no universally accepted standard for how to respond to DNT signals. At this time, the Service does not respond to DNT signals. However, you can use the tools described in this policy (such as browser cookie settings and the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on) to manage tracking preferences.

14. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by us. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party websites you visit.

In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you and any applicable regulatory authorities as required by law. Notification will be provided via the email address associated with your account and/or by posting a notice on the Service within seventy-two (72) hours of becoming aware of the breach, where feasible.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
